Purpose and Scope:
The Country Director is responsible for RMTC’s overall operations. The Country Director is accountable for the financial management, programme performance, children and staff safety, welfare and conduct.

Key responsibilities
The list does not cover the full scope of tasks and responsibilities of the Country Director but serves to illustrate the areas of emphasis:
• Setting the vision for RMTC and implementing the strategy.
• Driving efficiency and organizational value.
• Attracting, retaining and developing top talent.
• Cultivating a high-performing and agile team culture
• Aligning resources to achieve overall RMTC vision and mission.
• Owning RMTC budgets and managing burn rate.
• Providing expert guidance to all departments.
• Coaching and mentoring the management team.
• Managing the performance of the management team.
• Reporting updates to the Board regarding the progress on strategic pillars.
• Build strategic partnerships and relations to drive growth.
• Establish credibility through partner network.
Also undertake any other duties within reasonable limits, as requested by the Board of Directors.
Knowledge, Experience and personal attributes required
• +6 years of experience leading and scaling a high growth start up or similar organisation.
• Bachelor's Degree in business related/management (Masters preferred)
• P&L responsibilities at CEO or another senior level
• Proven track record of building successful products and high performing teams from the ground up
• Prior working experience in developing digital products and solutions
• Relevant industry experience
• Experience in managing a Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders
