We are so excited about the winner of this months award! Every nomination spoke about her ability to be flexible and how she is a mother figure to our children and makes them feel safe – something so important to us. We are so proud to announce our wonderful staff member Khadija as Employee of the Month for November!
Rafiki Mwema is a safe haven because of people like this month’s winner. Ever accommodating with a ready smile at hand, she is a favourite among kids and staff. She has worked in many different departments and capacities within our organisation, understands the needs of the children and is able to empathise with their situations. She is a happy soul, always ready to work with any member of staff and takes her time to get to know how her colleagues are doing. She is always ready with a warm smile and is a great mother to the small girls, and this is evident every single day that she comes to work. Khadija embodies the spirit of Rafiki Mwema perfectly and we are lucky that she has been with us for all these years.
