Partner with us!
We are looking for compassionate and influential individuals to join us as Rafiki Mwema Ambassadors. This is more than just a title; it’s a chance to stand with us and use your voice to bring safety, healing, and hope to children in Kenya who have experienced unimaginable trauma.
If you have a community that listens and a heart for helping others, we would be honoured to partner with you.
ApplyWhat is a Rafiki Mwema Ambassador?
As a Rafiki Mwema Ambassador, you become a vital part of our family and a champion for our cause. You’ll be joining a dedicated community of influential people who are committed to creating a world where every child feels safe and loved.
Your role is to help us bridge the distance between our supporters and the children in our care. Because we are deeply committed to sending as much funding as possible directly to Kenya, we operate with a very limited budget for marketing or outreach—and have just one full-time staff member here in Australia, our Founder. We don’t have large fundraising departments or big teams working behind the scenes. That’s why the role of our ambassadors is so valuable. By sharing our stories and mission with your audience, you help us reach new communities and inspire the real, tangible action that directly funds the therapeutic care, education, and loving support our children need to rebuild their lives.
Your voice has the power to protect, empower, and inspire. Together, we can make an incredible impact.

Sharing from the heart
Your role and responsibilities
We know everyone shows up differently, so there’s no strict rulebook here. Being a Rafiki Mwema Ambassador is about sharing from the heart, in ways that feel natural and sustainable for you. Think of the points below as gentle guideposts, not fixed expectations.
You might choose to Raise Awareness, Support our campaigns, Engage your community.. the list goes on!
There’s no minimum commitment, no set schedule, and no “right” way to be an ambassador. Every share, conversation, and moment of advocacy makes a difference.
To make things easy, we provide optional toolkits, pre-written content, and high-quality visuals you can use anytime. They’re there to support you, not to add pressure. You bring the heart. We’ll handle the rest.

InstagramA note on ambassador voices
At Rafiki Mwema, we rely on strong advocates against child abuse of all kinds to help with fundraising that allows our work to continue. Our ambassadors, volunteers, and staff very kindly offer their voices, platforms and solidarity with our cause and we simply couldn’t do our work without them. Their platforms and voices are their own.
Rafiki Mwema remains an apolitical organisation focused on our mission in Kenya to ensure we can be effective in our work. Their kind support allows us to do just that. Rafiki Mwema will continue to share our cause and views on official channels.
