We have started a new initiative internally within our home, called ‘The Voice of the Child’
The girls meet once a week without staff to talk about any issues they may have about the house, the staff or any fears or questions. The meeting is managed by two representatives – (Margaret and Monicah this month – and they are SO proud ) who then meet with the house management to feed back concerns. The girls can communicate by speaking to the representatives or writing their questions and putting them in a box. Everyone is loving it so far.
