She spoke about the terrible thing that happened to herOne of our brave little girls managed to speak this morning in court and tell the magistrate – who was sensitive and caring and the prosecutor who arranged the furniture so she didn’t have to see the accused – what happened to her.

Last week in court she froze completely and was unable to utter a word, but with some careful encouragement and support from Nancy on our outreach team and myself along with an extra special chat with one of our older girls who told her to just speak pole pole (slowly) and that she was very safe, she spoke about the terrible thing that happened to her.

She has a good mama who has relocated to keep her even safer and she has gone home today with her as per the wishes of the court, always to be a Rafiki girl and forever for the outreach team to check she is safe.
