We are thrilled to announce Agnes as our May Employee of the Month! Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment have made a significant impact on our community, particularly in her role as a special needs teacher. Agnes’s exceptional ability to connect with both children and staff has garnered widespread admiration and respect. We are so grateful to have Aunty Agnes on our team and to be able to award her Employee of the Month for May! 💖
It is always so heart warming to reach the nominations from colleagues and this month is no exception. Here are some of the beautiful commendations from Agnes colleagues:
Agnes’s commitment to the children, especially those with special needs, is truly inspiring. Her kindness and ability to connect with both kids and staff have made her an invaluable asset to our team. “She works extra hard to ensure she delivers her best at Jasiri School, and working with children with special needs makes her stand out in her tough job.” “Her tireless efforts and positive attitude have not gone unnoticed”, as another colleague mentioned, “She always rises to every task assigned to her without complaints and delivers her best.”
Her versatility and willingness to take on extra duties, beyond her role as a carer and teacher, highlight her dedication and flexibility. She manages a very technical class that requires constant attention, and her ability to handle any incidents that arise is remarkable. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she continues to perform her duties with love and commitment in the house, engaging with the children and attending to their needs without needing to be followed up.
Her resilience and love for her work shine through, especially when others feel overwhelmed. “When everyone gets tired of the special class, she manages it on her own. She is determined and takes care of them well.” This determination and her innovative approach to engaging the children, such as developing a special kids timetable have brought significant achievements for the special learners at Rafiki Jasiri.
Agnes’s ability to handle difficult behaviors with patience and positivity is commendable. She employs the PACE approach to deal with big behaviors, ensuring that every child grasps the content in class, no matter how challenging it might be. Her creative thinking has led to the implementation of a special needs timetable, making it easier to engage our special kids in various activities within different departments at Doyle’s farm.
We are so proud to have Aunty Agnes in our team and thank her for her dedication and unwavering committment to all our beautiful children at Rafiki Mwema ⭐💖
