At Jasiri Rafiki, we understand the unique challenges faced by our students, many of whom have been victims of sexual abuse and are navigating the daunting court process.

Our vision
Before the establishment of Jasiri Rafiki School, our girls received their education in makeshift classrooms within our therapeutic houses. Despite the limitations, their determination to learn never wavered. However, with the generous support of our donors, we were able to turn our vision into reality.
Today, Jasiri Rafiki School stands as a symbol of empowerment and opportunity. We are able to provide a nurturing environment for our students to thrive.
Quality education in a secure environment
Education is not just about academics; it’s about fostering resilience, healing, and community integration. That’s why we ensure that our students remain connected to their community while prioritising their safety and well-being. During ongoing court cases or in witness protection, our students attend Jasiri Rafiki School, where they receive quality education in a secure environment.
After legal proceedings conclude, and the perpetrator is securely detained, with assurance that the child is out of harm’s way, students from Jasiri Rafiki School will transition to a local community school. This ensures a seamless reintegration into their home environment when the time comes to depart from Rafiki Mwema.
