When Constance Hall came into our world we could never have imagined the incredible things she would make possible. Her efforts have been truly life-changing for our children. As a blogger, business woman, freedom fighter, mum and queen, she supports us in so many ways. From raising funds to raising awareness, she has introduced thousands of amazing people to the work we do.

Constance empowers women to support other women, much like what we do here at Rafiki Mwema. We are proud to call her a Rafiki Mwema Ambassador and here are just a few reasons why:

The Queens Castle

It was back in 2016 that Constance Hall first heard about the work of Rafiki Mwema. At this stage we had just acquired the farm (thanks to the generosity of Grandma and Grandpa Doyle) and had many needs. Constance quickly responded to our call for a second home on Doyle Farm for the big girls. Setting up a fundraiser with a goal of $75k, she rallied her community and quickly raised a grand total of $200,000AUD! The support meant we could not only open our Queens Castle, but also build Malkia Mtoto (Little Queen), a small house used to transition new girls into Rafiki Mwema, as well as an office for the staff.

Rafiki Way

Later in 2016 Constance teamed up with fellow Ambassador Celeste Barber to raise funds for a much needed road to access our new farm. This road means a five minute comfortable drive directly from the highway instead of the windy hour long trip through bumpy terrain we had to endure previously. It means we have quick and safe access to the farm and we are forever grateful.

Queens supporting Kings

King's Castle Opening {Part 3}

In February 2018, Constance donated $1 from every Like A Queen book and raised $170k to build the Kings Castle. We never thought we could recreate what we built with the Queens Castle donations, but Constance Hall made it a reality for our boys to move to Doyle Farm in a castle fit for a King!

Giving not just money but her love, Constance and her family travelled to Doyle Farm at their own expense for the grand opening. Meeting our children, hearing their stories and sharing their joy was a powerful experience for all and she is now forever in the hearts of our children.

Ongoing Support

Aside from her specific campaigning, Constance’s generous and heartfelt support continues on a daily basis. With the sale of every item from her online store Constance donates $1.

With every opportunity Rafiki Mwema is front of mind. In 2019 Constance danced her heart out on Dancing with the Stars in an attempt to take out the grand prize for our children. She has also helped raise awareness of our cv work through countless media interviews and been at the centre of many Rafiki Mwema fundraising events. One such event was the premiere of ‘Kings & Queens of Rafiki’, a documentary about her visit to Doyle Farm. From Newcastle to Lennox Head Constance met with our supporters and shared her insights our work. There was laughing and crying as Constance shared what people can do when they put their hearts together to make change.

And this is all just the tip of the iceberg.
