Peter is not only a pillar of strength on our Doyle Farm but a shining example of what it means to grow within the Rafiki Mwema family. Once a boy in our care, Peter has transformed into a role model, mentor, and leader who inspires both staff and children every single day.
Whether he’s up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows, ensuring our children and staff have fresh milk each morning, or coordinating a full kitchen to create delicious meals during special celebrations, Peter gives his heart and soul to every task. His passion for cooking is only matched by his passion for people – always ready with a warm smile, a helping hand, or a funny story to lift the mood.
Peter is known for his punctuality, flexibility, and willingness to step into any role needed, no matter how big or small. His green thumb has contributed to the successful harvests that help keep our children fed, and his leadership during festive seasons has left many full – in both stomach and spirit.
Beyond his hard work, Peter is a genuinely kind and humble soul. He treats everyone with respect, keeps healthy boundaries, and is always open to learning and growing. It’s no wonder the children adore him and his colleagues hold him in such high regard.
