At Rafiki Mwema, we are privileged to work alongside incredible individuals who dedicate their time and hearts to the children in our care. This month, we are thrilled to honour one of our outstanding team members, Judy, as Employee of the Month.
Judy joined Rafiki Mwema as a casual staff member at the farm, where her work ethic and love for the children quickly made her stand out. Her dedication and compassion led to her recommendation for a position at the girls’ house, where she has continued to excel. Judy’s warmth and humour make her a beloved mother figure to the younger girls, who look up to her with admiration and trust.
Her daily contributions are nothing short of extraordinary. Judy ensures the youngest children are well-fed, cared for, and feel safe. She goes above and beyond by washing their clothes, maintaining cleanliness, and paying close attention to the needs of sick children, ensuring they receive the proper medication. Her flexibility and willingness to work across all shifts make her an invaluable team member.
