On Friday 19 February 2027, our Perth community comes together again at Maylands Golf Course for the 5th Annual Rafiki Golf Day.
As in previous years, Áine is hosting – and once again, she’s set her goals high.

This year’s goals
1. Reliable rescue vehicle – about $40,000
When we get a call about a child in danger, we must reach them fast, often on very rough roads. Our vans are old and worn out. Too often we have to hire a four-wheel drive just to get there.
A reliable vehicle means we can reach every child, and visit more schools to teach children and communities how to spot abuse and speak up. We want to stop abuse before it starts.

2. Education – about $24,000 a year
School costs rise every term. We support children from primary school through to university, including children in our outreach program. The start of the year is the most expensive time of all.
3. 70 new beds – $7,000
Strong metal beds for every child at Doyle Farm, to replace the old wooden beds we keep having to replace.
